1.4.17 Threaded connection fittings intended to be used by the consumer shall be provided with wrench flats. 1.4.18 The gas supply of the appliance shall terminate in a tapered pipe thread in accordance with the Standard for Pipe Threads, General Purpose (Inch), ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, or a flared fitting in accordance with the Standard for Automotive Tube Fittings, ANSI/SAE J512. Shall comply with 1 .4.4, 1 .4.5, 1 .4.6, 1 .4.7, 1 .4.8, and 1 .5.2; and b. May be shipped separately provided the appliance terminates in a flared fitting in accordance with the Standard for Automotive Tube Fittings, ANSI/SAE J512.
For all appliances: 1 . A statement that the installation must conform with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases, ANSI/NFPA 58; or Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1; Propane Storage and Handling, CSA B149.2; or the Standard for Recreational Vehicles, ANSI A119.2/NFPA 1192; and Recreational Vehicle Code, CSA Z240 RV Series, as applicable. 2. A statement that fryer/boilers shall not be used on or under any apartment or condominium balcony or deck. 3. Instructions to the effect that this appliance shall be used only outdoors, and shall not be used in a building, garage or any other enclosed area. 4. If an external electrical source is utilized, a statement that the appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1. 5. A statement that this appliance is not intended to be installed in or on a boat. For other than recreational vehicle grills, a statement that this appliance is not intended to be installed in or on recreational vehicles. 6. Manufacturer’s, distributor’s, jobbers or dealers name, as it appears on the name plate; and address and appliance model or series number.

(c) In the event of rain, snow, hail, sleet or other forms of precipitation while cooking with oil or grease, cover the cooking vessel immediately and turn off the appliance burners and gas supply.
