The appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1. 1 7. More frequent cleaning may be required due to excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, etcetera. The instructions for an appliance optionally for use with glass doors (or equivalent) shall state that only doors certified with the appliance shall be used.
